Nice battery,October 23, 2011I had ordered and identical battery through Home Depot for $200 and then found this one for $179 on Amazon. The one from Home Depot worked out great and this one has as well so far. I may order more as I am using them for my solar project which requires deep cycle batteries and AGM type batteries are the latest thing.

The product was expedited in a timely manner, which is one of Amazons customer service qualities. But each shipment lacked the terminal nuts to complete the installation. I made two trips to the auto parts store after determining I need 17mm coarse thread instead of fine thread. Otherwise the performance is satisfactory.

After using this for a couple of months, I’m raising my rating to 5 stars. This is one of the best purchases I’ve made, the only exercise machine that I look forward to using. You don’t need all of the extra programs, bells and whistle to get your heart pumping and your sweat glands pouring. This device easily fits in our kitchen, opposite a countertop TV and JBL iPod speaker (much better than the built-in one with this or any other treadmill), and I’ve come to feel unready for the day ahead until doing my 30 minutes on the single automatic program. I’ve progressed from being able to walk at 3.5 mph to 4.5 mph and am feeling the overall aerobic benefits more each day. Now if I only had as much motivation to use Total Gym and all of the other neglected gadgets I’ve collected!

I have had this treadmill for a few weeks now and have been very happy with it. It’s very sturdy and has a lot of features for a home treadmill. The comments I list below fall into the category of “just be prepared for” and mainly involve the delivery process.
One caveat I have is that this machine is *heavy*. My delivery guy brought it into my garage and despite my attempts to have him put it just inside a room off the garage, no dice. I had to have the help of a very strong guy to move the treadmill where I wanted it. The good news is that after that, it was a piece of cake to put together, involving about 30 big screws and took exactly an hour (probably could have taken even less time).
This treadmill is supposed to fold up, but I can’t imagine ever using that feature — for one, it’s too heavy and two, it’s so big it’s not like you could really hide it anywhere. These are not complaints — the fact that the machine is big and heavy translates into sturdiness and a larger running surface.
Finally, there’s no instant gratification when you click the Purchase button online. Be prepared for this item to take up to a month to be delivered. It’s worth the wait, though!

I purchased the treadmill from a local retailer. Initially, I didn’t see any independent user reviews on it so, I thought i would post something. My Projected running usage – Probably 2-3 X a week – average maybe 2 hours / week of running total.
The treadmill has a 20×60″ belt with a 3.25 hp motor. Haven’t seen any other in this price range with a motor like this one. Although they call the belt orthopedic, I don’t think it is particularly thick – but seems fine. Overall, it feels pretty stable and solid (no shaking or motion). The cushioning isn’t quite as good as the gym treadmills, but for the $ it’s perfectly fine.
